The Urban Texture Prints action uses specific manholes of the city of Acqui Terme depicting  historical monuments related to the water as graphic support for printing. The city is famous for its natural hot springs, especially “La Bollente”, which emerges in the city center at around 75 degrees Celsius. In recent years, due to to privatization policies, all thermal facilities were sold to a company that operates in the medical field and subsequently abandoned, harming both the local economy and the cultural heritage of the community. This precious water should be regarded as a common good and it is our collective responsability to protect and preserve it.
